Michigan Warbirds is a Flight Training School located in Michigan that specializes
in High Performance Piston Powered Warbirds.Our flight
school in Michigan is located at Kalamazoo Airport, home of
the Airzoo. The aircraft that we
provide training in are the North American T-28B Trojan, North
American T-6G Texan and the Vultee BT-13 Valiant otherwise known
as the Vultee Vibrator.
Our flight training school programs are located in Michigan,
in the heart of the mid west offer a wide array
of training from introduction flights to a complete initial
qualification in any of these aircraft. The initial
qualification courses have a very thorough ground and flight
training syllabus that is strictly adhered to. Recurrent ground
and flight training is also provided for pilots who are
qualified in these aircraft and want to brush up on their
general knowledge or flying skills. We also provide aerobatic
training for those pilots who want to experience the world of warbird aerobatics. Basic aerobatic maneuvers are also included
in the initial checkout courses. For those pilots who just want
to experience unusual attitudes, we offer upset training.
Advanced tailwheel training is available in both the BT-13 and
T-6. We also offer rides in the BT-13 and T-6 to both pilots and
non pilots who want to experience the thrill of flying in a WWII
